We are thrilled to welcome Corinne Lagermasini as 5th Square Advocacy’s first Executive Director.
This marks an exciting new chapter as we grow from a lean, all-volunteer team into a staffed nonprofit, expanding capacity to advocate for abundant housing, reliable public transportation, and safer streets across Philadelphia. After years of building a powerful volunteer movement, hiring the first Executive Director is an important investment in 5th Square's future.
As a person who relies on walking, biking and public transit, Corinne is passionate about strong, vibrant, and healthy communities. Her commitment to creating places where people can thrive makes her a strong fit for 5th Square's mission.
Corinne brings extensive nonprofit leadership experience to 5th Square Advocacy, having led community-based public health and human service organizations serving refugees, immigrants, and survivors of domestic violence. Throughout her career, she has helped mission-driven organizations navigate growth and change by building strong partnerships, developing collaborative teams, and bringing people together around a shared vision.
