📢 FRIDAY: RALLY FOR A SAFER WEST MARKET STREET
This Friday at 11am, join us at 34th and Market for a rally demanding PennDOT implement safety improvements on West Market St. We'll be speaking alongside state and city elected officials to demand PennDOT act now.
Philly Bike Action's analysisfound 139 documented crashes
on Market between 38th and the Schuylkill just from 2020 to 2024, making it one of the most dangerous corridors in the city.
There is currently zero bike/pedestrian access
over the Delaware River between Philadelphia and Trenton, a 25 mile gap.
The replacement of the I-95 bridge
over the Delaware gives us a rare opportunity to shrink this gap and substantially improve connections between neighborhoods in PA and NJ.
This past Sunday, there was a touching memorial for Dr. Barbara Friedes, two years after she was killed while biking on Spruce Street by a reckless driver.
Thank you to everyone who has already joined as a member! Our members fuel our grassroots work
for a more accessible, sustainable, and equitable Philadelphia.
Sign this petition
to support expanding student transit cards to cover more students and provide transit access on evenings, weekends, and summers.
🚲 LEGALIZE PARKING-PROTECTED BIKE LANES
Parking-protected bike lanes are a great way to make our bikes lanes safer and lower stress, but they are illegal on state roads! Sign the Bicycle Coalition's petition to legalize parking-protected bike lanes!
Join us to demand PennDOT implement the safety improvements we called for alongside PBA in our joint West Market St petition. We'll join elected officials in speaking out about the urgent need to implement these changes. Bring your safe streets signs for the media to see!
5:30 PM to 7:00PM · Village of Industry and Art, 320 S Broad St
Attend this book launch featuring a panel discussion with contributors and practitioners working across urban design, planning, landscape architecture, infrastructure, and community development, followed by a book signing and reception at Frankie's Summer Club.
