5th Square Advocacy's Transit Committee will be holding our quarterly volunteer strategy and planning meeting in-person at Indy Hall's Skyroom on Monday, September 14th at 6 PM.
Join us to discuss how we're organizing around our current ongoing transportation campaigns, and what we would like to set our sights and goals on going into the future.
For our fall quarterly meeting we'll be discussing the current state of state funding for public transit and where we go from here. City funding for local transit equity initiatives such as Zero Fare, acceptability audits, and recent local advocacy work to raise awareness to support local initiatives. We'll also have a guest presentation from SEPTA's Youth Engagement Resources Officer to talk about Student Passes and SEPTA recent actions on student fares.
Pizza and refreshments will be available.
