5th Square Advocacy and Transit Forward Philly are excited to welcome SEPTA General Manager Scott Sauer
for a presentation on Accelerate
.
Accelerate is SEPTA's bold new vision for the future of the transit system and our region.
Imagine 15-minute service on Regional Rail, accessibility for every station, a new fleet of subway and trolley cars, and 21 more frequent bus routes.
After years of chronic underfunding and managed decline, this vision is entirely up to our lawmakers to meet that need.
Hear directly from Scott about SEPTA’s vision for the future, followed by a Q&A on the opportunities and challenges ahead for building a world-class transit system and region.
This is an accessible venue. This event is family-friendly.
$10 suggested donation allows us to provide pizza and drinks -- collected at the event.
Transit Access:
• Regional Rail to Suburban Station
• L, B and T lines to City Hall / 15th St station
• SEPTA Bus: 2, 4, 9, 12, 16, 17, 21, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 42, 44, 48, 62, 124, 125
